Intrepid Learning Solutions names President and CEO
Experienced Professional Services Leader to Continue Rapid-Growth Momentum
(Seattle, WA—September 18, 2007) Intrepid Learning Solutions, a leading provider of learning and performance solutions, announced today that Vikesh Mahendroo will join the company as President and CEO, effective October 1st.
Mahendroo comes to Intrepid from a distinguished career at Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Mahendroo has been one of Mercer’s most senior partners, serving as Executive Vice President of Global Accounts and a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee. He brings to Intrepid extensive experience growing and running a world-class professional services organization, global expertise, and a deep understanding of human resource and talent management issues. Mahendroo served at Mercer for 23 years in positions of increasing responsibility. He holds an MBA from Columbia University along with BA and Master’s degrees from the University of Delhi.
"I am delighted to be joining the Intrepid team, and to support the team’s industry-leading track record of delivering client value and developing enthusiastic client relationships," said Mahendroo. "Intrepid has an incredibly solid foundation, and we have tremendous growth prospects within one of the fastest growing segments in the talent management space." Mahendroo and his family are relocating to Intrepid headquarters in Seattle.
This announcement builds on recent momentum in the marketplace for Intrepid. Earlier this month, Intrepid was recognized as the 3rd fastest growing business services company in the United States by Inc. Magazine, and in July signed a multi-year contract to provide global learning services to a Fortune 150 client.
"We have found a world-class professional services leader in Vikesh Mahendroo," said Jack Creighton, Chairman of the Intrepid Board of Directors. "Intrepid’s clients and the learning industry will benefit greatly from Vikesh’s experience and vision."
Chris Hedrick, Intrepid’s departing President & CEO, announced his intent in April to retire from Intrepid in order to become the Peace Corps Country Director in Senegal, West Africa. Hedrick will continue to serve Intrepid as a member of its Advisory Board.
