Intrepid Learning Solutions Hosts Annual Summit, Exploration 2007: Aligning Learning to the Business

Seattle, Washington, July 5, 2007 - Intrepid Learning Solutions, a leading provider of training services, hosted its annual summit on June 12, 2007. Intrepid’s clients, prospects and team members gathered for the interactive forum, focused on aligning learning to the business. The event featured learning and performance best practices, case studies and innovations.

Representatives from over 20 companies participated in the event, held in Seattle, Washington. Attendees included chief learning officers and senior learning executives, representing leading firms across industries, including: financial services, technology, and aerospace. Among the firms represented: Autodesk, Inc., Lynden Incorporated, National City Corporation, SC Johnson, and State Street Global Advisors.

The agenda focused on aligning learning with organizational goals and the overall business strategy. The program featured networking events, allowing attendees the opportunity to interact with peers in a knowledge community. Program highlights included presentations by customers and industry thought leaders, including Kevin Oakes, CEO, The Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), and past Chairman of ASTD, who led a session on trends and predictions in the field of human capital.
