Intrepid Learning Solutions Hosts Inaugural Client Summit, Exploration 2006: Benchmarking, Best Practices & Impact
(Seattle, WA—July 07, 2006) Intrepid Learning Solutions, a leading provider of training services, hosted its inaugural client summit on June 6, 2006. Over 80 of Intrepid’s clients, prospects and team members gathered in a collegial environment to share best practices, case studies, trends, and innovations. Representatives from over 15 companies participated in the event, held in Seattle, Washington.
The summit provided Intrepid clients with the opportunity to network with peers in a knowledge community, along with the chance to provide input on future service offerings by the company.
Program highlights included:
- Keynote address by ASTD Chairman Kevin Oakes regarding the state of the learning industry and insights regarding future direction
- Panel of executive learning leaders, including ASTD CEO, Board Chair, and top executives from Boeing and Autodesk
- Presentation on training strategy led by Microsoft
- Panel discussion on Measuring the Business Impact of Learning featuring practitioners from Adobe, Autodesk and EMC Corp.
- Case Study on Innovative Uses of Learning Technologies led by Autodesk
To encourage continual discussion and education from the event, Intrepid created Exploration Extension, as an online environment that facilitates ongoing community collaboration, learning research highlights, and industry best practices through the use of wikis, blogs, and podcasts.
