(Seattle, WA – November 9, 2006) Intrepid Learning Solutions, a leading provider of training services, and Microsoft, worldwide leader in software, services and solutions, announced today they were awarded the Brandon Hall Bronze Excellence in Learning for Custom Content for training programs. The course, “Active Listening to Better Serve Customers”, was developed in partnership between Intrepid and Microsoft.
“We partnered with Intrepid to create a solution that breaks the creative boundaries of e-learning and supports our sales force needs,” said Ada Agrait, Microsoft’s Digital Advertising Solutions, Learning and Development Leader, Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. “The pairing of entertainment and education in the course is used to capture and keep the attention of our target audience.”
Intrepid and Microsoft’s Digital Advertising Solutions group created the dynamic course as part of a sales training program focusing on Active Listening and Questioning techniques used to increase customer satisfaction. Active listening is a key tool used to influence, persuade, and negotiate. This solution will educate the sales force and bring to their attention the Active Listening and Questioning techniques and styles used in their communication. The target audience for this course includes Account Managers (AMs) and Account Executives (AEs).
“Intrepid is proud to receive the Brandon Hall Award,” said Brad Johnson, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Intrepid Learning Solutions. “This is a great example where we partnered with our client to understand their business goals and created innovative training that matched the need of the targeted audience. The result was a highly effective course that helps our client be more successful at selling their offerings.”
