General Description

The Recruiter is responsible for strategic sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, and closing candidates. Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Source and attract qualified applicants to fill Intrepid's hiring needs
• Screen and qualify applicants; present quality candidates to hiring manager(s) for review
• Partner with and build effective relationships with Intrepid Management and Leadership
• Schedule candidate interviews as appropriate; be present to meet and greet, welcome them into the space; provide, retain, and ensure completeness of applications for each candidate
• Follow-up with all candidates, solicit feedback from interview processes, close-out candidates not selected, and negotiate/extend offers in a timely manner

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• 5+ Years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills that allow for effective meeting facilitation, cross-organization buy-in, and strategy development
• Strong presentation skills; ability to 'sell' the company as an employer of choice
• Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Resources function preferred

UX/Graphic Designer (Contract)

General Description

The Contract Graphic Designer responds to requests from Intrepid’s Senior Design Lead to participate in learning content Design and Production projects for clients.  The successful candidate must be a self-starter and be able to take direction easily. They should have an obsessive attention to detail, a high tolerance for revisions, have a strong desire to produce the highest quality work and preferably have a background in training and education.

This position works with a collaborative, high-energy development group to design and create an innovative and engaging eLearning experience using HTML, JavaScript and Flash. Other duties could include conducting needs analysis and other research to identify and validate client needs, making recommendations on design based on customer requirements, and collaborating with Instructional Designers, Editors and Testers. The Contract Graphic Designer will be part of a pool of hourly contract employees that will be resourced as client projects demand.

Responsibilities:

• Create process flows, wireframes, templates/style sheets and visual design mockups complete with redlines as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
• Should be able to follow brand guidelines effectively.
• Work as part of a project team formed specifically to design and develop training content for clients.
• Collaborate with other Media Team members, Instructional Designers, other Intrepid team members and clients in an often high-pressure environment.
• Work with project team to determine training/education requirements for target audience.
• Continually look for ways to improve the UI in terms of usability to the end user

Skill Requirements

• Excellent creative skills in design and/or instructional design.
• Proficiency with all primary graphics software tools and web design tools and languages including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator and wireframe software, such as Balsamiq.
• Working knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS)
• Knowledge of Flash (a plus)
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Other Requirements

• A strong web/multimedia portfolio demonstrating past work and relevant, user-centered design solutions.
• Contractors should have their own computer equipment/software and should be working on CS4 or above (CS5 is preferred).

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years working in Web development, ideally in an eLearning environment

General Description

The Sr. Support Technician works as part of the Information Technology team to support end-users and serve as a single point of contact in troubleshooting and resolving computing issues.  This includes installing, upgrading, and repairing all PC/Laptop hardware; troubleshooting and diagnosing general computing problems; installing and troubleshooting software used in our environment; basic network troubleshooting; providing general end-user computing assistance when needed; and resolving technical issues via phone, email, in person, and through our online ticketing system.   

Responsibilities

• Support for help desk support questions
• Respond to telephone calls, emails and tickets from the ticketing system
• Troubleshoot, prioritize, solve, support issues and escalating issues when necessary
• Setup and configure machines

Requirements

Systems Administrator

Requirements:

• Proven track record administering LAMP environments, 5 years+
• Versatile self-starter with an eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and the Java technology stacks.
• Understanding of Ubuntu Linux, and how it’s different from RHEL/CentOS/other
• Programming/scripting skills in at least one language, perl or ruby a plus
• Experience with open source management software, such as nagios, RT, munin, openVAS

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Learning Technology team members, platform developers, internal stakeholders and clients in an often high-pressure environment.
• Work  within an Agile development process and attend daily scrum meetings
• Attend and participate in sprint planning and sprint review meetings involving code reviews.
• Develop client facing web portal built on internal frameworks and platforms
• Produce individual test plans to run against developed code
• Assist with in system design, documentation and project scoping
• Attend Client Services team planning discussions and team functions in order to keep apprised of other client projects and other company developments.

Requirements

• Proven track record in delivering Enterprise level solutions
• BA/BS in Computer Science required with a minimum 5 plus years developing web based applications
•  Advanced experience in OOP/HTML/CSS and an interest in user interface design
•  Advanced knowledge and experience in JavaScript,  and Object-oriented JavaScript skills is a plus
• Intermediate experience using UI frameworks AJAX, JSON and JQuery
• Experience in developing web service based applications using RESTful web services
• Experience working in an Agile Software methodology
• Knowledge Management, Learning, Training & Development industry experience a plus
